Art Journal to the Rescue

What do you do when you have the time...you have the desire...but you don't have any ideas?

Today I found myself in that dilemma. I had a couple of hours free to create in my studio, and yet after prepping surfaces (which then needed dry time) I had no idea what else to create. I didn't fret over my absent muse, but rather pulled out my art journal (and some new art supplies that were begging to be tried out) and off I went. No particular ideas...no particular destination...just art for art's sake. That's the beauty of an art journal. It's always there whenever you feel the urge for creative play.

I try not to fret to much over those kind of days anymore, but sometimes cna't seem to help myself. That's when I think I really should join the crowd and start an art journal. But it hasn't happened yet. ;-)

I don't fret anymore..I just go with the flow and move into other creative directions! It's all good!
