Ahhh, summer.
As it draws to a close, we anticipate the ROUTINE that the school year brings.
With apologies, my post for this week's Illustration Friday is pulled from deep in the archives. It has been one of those crazy weeks...far from ROUTINE...with not much time for art.

Very nostalgic! Although my school days were really quite awful, I still loved the feeling of anticipation! To this day, both my husband and I look forward to September which means classes! Even at our age. Love the weekly visit to your site.

As a kid, I loved that feeling of returning to school after the long summer (for about the first week...lol)! As a parent, by the end of the summer I couldn't WAIT for school to start again...then as the school year wore on, I couldn't WAIT to have it end...and so it goes...
