Something Different

During one of my shopping trips to Michaels I discovered a small papier mache box and thought it might be a fun surface on which to collage. I was right! I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of working with a three dimensional item. I envisioned making a sweet box for sewing notions or secret treasures, something useful as well as decorative.

This box is currently available in my Etsy shop. *SOLD*

Genius! So you can think outside the box!

What a wonderful find, concept and execution. You must make more!!!!

PS... maybe you noticed that the word verifications are beginning to take on a life and language of their own...today I am beginning a journal of these entities.

I really like this new direction! Fun-ctional collage!
I agree with ginger...I have noticed the last few weeks, word verifications are a little more "wordy" or more flowing...I dont know. It's probably just me...
Anyways! I love my visits over here.

those papier-mache boxes are fabulous! this one is so perfectly detailed that i can't imagine how long it must have taken you to do it. i've collaged a few clipboards and they've taken days and days to finish.

I am a box freak! Have been for years. I'm working on 3 right now simultaneously. LOL And you just can't beat paper mache for a cost effective box substrate! :-) Glad you enjoyed yours.
