New Studio Space

After three years of creating art below ground level (AKA...in the basement) I have moved on up to the second floor. I have traded my art sink for natural light and more pleasant surroundings. All in all, a fairly good trade. The image below shows my humble beginnings.

And here is my new studio with a view of a beautiful New Hampshire mountain. Life is good!

The new space is wonderful. I love that you have the openness and light and a view. Now you can see the snow fall......all winter long.

The basement studio had a charm all its own, but this is going to be so inspirational. Everything that you have done to make this change will affect your work in one way or another.

Oh Nancy~
It is beautiful. I love the table! I like it all, so neat and pretty!!!
Happy creating in your new area. BTW, I love this collage below. I just bought something for my sister for Christmas...this would have been great, and so true for us! I am sure some sister is going to snap that up quick...

that is terrific! I started out on my dining room table which was a real pain when holiday time came around and I had to move everything to eat...finially, my last one moved out and it took me about 5 minutes to move into the second bedroom and claim it as my studio. I love having a place where I can just close the door...
