This is my first submission to Inspire Me Thursday and what better way to start than with Polka Dots! Gotta love 'em ! I know I have great fun adding them as texture to my backgrounds. And I do believe they even conjure up a bit of childlike innocence.

So lovely Nancy! My sister saw your collages yesterday and freaked out she loves them so much! One went missing and I was so sad, afraid one of the kids knocked it over. Over a week later, I found it carefully hidden in one of Lillian's purses! I talked to her about taking my things and she COLLAPSED (she is so dramatic!) into me with guilt and started to cry, "I'm SO sorry Mom...I just LOVE those little paintings!" Now that's devotion! :)

Lovely artwork. I always wondered about similar polka dots on art challenges. I never realised until I read some of the comments today that it is bubble wrap that achieves this look. what a fab idea. I will definitely give it a try!! Great image too
