Illustration Friday ~ COCOON

How fortunate we are that change occurs inside a COCOON.

My youngest's favorite thing to do is to collect Monarch caterpillars and raise them into butterflies. He takes this responsibility very seriously and releases the beautiful butterflies with a proud but heavy heart; as letting go is never easy no matter your age or the circumstance.

I encourage you to visit the Illustration Friday website, follow the links and find all of the wonderful artwork and blogs.

Love your little butterfly girl. So precious... and what a sweet wonderful thing your son does with the monarchs... and that really must be a tough thing to let them go finally. Such a great lesson for life, eh?
