Collage Play with Crowabout ~ Week #56

This week Collage Play with Crowabout offered a fabulous collage sheet with "wild west" images. I wasn't quite sure where to go with this inspiration, so I headed to my journal and created the image pictured.

I used a new journaling pen, that I really like, for the fine line lettering. It's the Sharpie pen and I really like how smoothly it writes.

If you haven't yet visited the Collage Play with Crowabout blog, you really must do so. There is an abundance of inspiration and fun waiting for you there.

fun piece, Nancy. Don't you just love the sharpie?!

I bought them for art & now use them for everything- I like the smooth feel when writing.

Thanks for your generous comment on my blog. I'm a huge Matisse fan so it's a big compliment

Great job! I love the new sharpie pens too, they don't bleed through in Molskines-woo-hoo!

Thanks for your kind comment! Your work is so inspiring. I´ve looked at some of your older posts too. The playfulness, the colors, the patterns and ornaments are so nicely put together. Oh, and thanks for the tip about Crowabout!

You did a great job with this one. I just didn't warm up to it, I am not a fan of the Western stuff. But I love the spooky house. Just watched something on tv about the Winchester lady and that wacky house she built, I thought of it as soon as I saw this. Anywho...I will play next week I hope. I am so happy you told me about Crowabout.

Wonderful work as usual on this ! But I love that statement that defines the piece. "Anything is possible if you believe in yourself!"
