Journal Pages

With a sick child to care for this week, it was awfully nice to have some "portable artwork," in the form of my journal, to work on. On some of the pages I wrote favorite quotes; on other pages I just wrote random thoughts, phrases or words. Being new to art journaling it is a bit difficult to come up with "something to say," but it is all a learning process...and one that I am enjoying immensely. Thank you, Pam.

These are really interesting pages Nancy. I think you are taking to your journaling quite nicely. The mix of handwritten text combined with the montage work is really interesting. Thanks for sharing these. Hope the fam feels better soon!

These are so good!!! I love what you did.
My niece delivered our first baby in the family and I took my journal and journaled everything that everybody said waiting for the baby. I had made a page with a little girl(she had a hat on with their initial on it~ this was by chance) on a bird. It also had a butterfly and other girlie stuff. Anyway, it turned out to be a perfect gift to give them. I wish I had made a picture of it before I gave it to them. LOL
Love this class... And I can tell you also do.

I have done a few journal pages and I can't say I will ever show them to anyone, lol! Your pages are lovely, I wouldn't think you were new to it at all!
