I am enjoying the richness of this color palette, one that is new for me. So many of my collages have had a pastel background and I find that it is fun to work with 'gutsy' colors (as my high school art teacher would have said.)
The design of this collage was also one that 'came to me' as I was drifting off to sleep...I really should keep a sketchpad next to my bed.
The text reads, 'drifting, sailing, carried away with my dreams.' It is entitled 'Carried Away' and is available in my Etsy shop.

I too really love the colours you have in this piece and the layers are fantastic! I usually work in a lighter palette as well and am inspired to step out into more 'gutsy' (good word) colours after seeing this.
I have a note book by my bed as I often get inspiration as sleep is taking me away... but sometime I wake in the morning and think what on earth was I thinking!!!
