Hope Hath Wings

After a difficult week filled with problems and pain and yes, the dreaded car accident...is it too late to add another pet peeve?...like the high school student who backs into the side of your car because she doesn't use the rear view mirror for anything other than putting on mascara ???...But I digress. After a stressful week, it seems that I still must believe that there is hope and the possibility of bluer skies. Therein lies the inspiration for this collage. I WILL try to be ever hopeful, even when it feels like everything is going wrong. I WILL believe that I can be lifted by that hope and all will be well. There...I said it. I HOPE it is so...

oh, Nancy, so sorry to hear about your car accident!
my husband was side-swiped by a young woman last year, she was talking on her cell phone - one of my biggest pet peeves!
it has been a tough winter, but I am hopeful, as well.
beautiful work.
take care!

Dang! I hope you didn't get injured! How is your car?

This just might be one of my favorite pieces so far! Sorry that a bummer week inspired it, but I guess that happens sometimes, eh? Well, if it helps any, your post really helped lift me out the doldrums I've been in this week, with the message of hope. We need to remind each other from time to time. Thanks.

Hope everything resolves itself positively.

Nancy, it must have been something in the air. I had a bad week too and the onset of TMJ from stress. Your little flying birds in your new work are just what I needed! HOPE! What did Scarlett O'Hara say? "Tomorrow's another day!" :-) Hope you're feeling better.

Yes there are bluer skies ahead, and if the accident kept you off the road in today's storm, maybe there is a reason someplace. I am really sorry about the accident, and know that even when things seem to be going wrong I can still find your bright smile! It lights up any room you enter.
